Terminal Description
Knight expanded into North Carolina in May 1999, opening the Charlotte terminal with just five trucks and a small office staff. Today, the Charlotte terminal has grown to over 200 team members, reflecting our commitment to growth and excellence. We foster a culture of openness, high expectations, honesty, and respect, ensuring that every team member feels valued and supported.
Located just minutes from Uptown Charlotte, our terminal features a spacious yard with additional parking for drivers, a well-equipped driver lounge with bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a common area with TV, and free Wi-Fi. Our top-tier shop, staffed by an experienced team, prides itself on maintaining our fleet to the highest standards.
Our newly renovated operations area offers a welcoming, family-like environment where everyone is encouraged to stop by and say hello. We are excited to welcome you to the Knight Family here in Charlotte and support your efforts and successes.

Job Details:
Knight Transportation is looking for experienced Class A CDL Truck Drivers to run part time. This is a slip seating position, meaning that the tractor is shared with another slip seating driver when you are on home time.
- Run 7 days out or more at a time
- Flexible schedule, depending on your needs
- 2,100 – 2,500 average weekly miles, depending on your schedule
Location:Charlotte, NC
Pay & Perks:$0.45 to $0.63 CPM

- 7-10 days out, 2 days home
- Run between NC, PA, OH and the surrounding areas
- Average 2,100+ weekly miles
