Description
Knight Transportation is looking for experienced CDL-A truck drivers to contract with the team as an Owner Operator. Operate under Knight’s authority and gain access to Knight’s nationwide fuel network savings with a fuel protection program, maintenance program, and trailer pool.

Fuel Savings with the Knight Fuel Card
- Receive 30 cents off per gallon at participating locations (Pilot, Flying J (excluding One9 locations), Love’s)
- Earn an additional 5 cents per loaded mile when you purchase at least 80% of your expected fuel from Qualified Fuel Services
Required Tractor Specifications:
- Tractor must be seven years or newer
- Wheelbase must be less than 265 inches
- Sliding fifth wheel height of 47.5″ or less
- 3-axle with sleeper
- Governed at 68mph cruise, 70mph pedal (Knight covers cost)

Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A license
- 9 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year of Class A experience within the last 5 years
- No DUI within 5 years or 10 years if CDL holder at time of DUI
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug tests

This dedicated account is for CDL A Truck Drivers who have both their Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements. Drivers will be out for 2-3 weeks and then home for 3 days. We are hiring immediately for this full-time position.
