Job Details:
We are looking for passionate and safe drivers to become training mentors for our trainee drivers. Help develop the next generation of CDL A drivers while gaining financially.
- Top trainers can earn up to $120,000 a year

Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A license
- 6 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year of Class A experience within the last 5 years
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug tests
Additional Trainer Qualifications:
- Minimum of 30 days with Knight
- Must have at least 60,000 Miles solo & 1 winter season driving OTR
- Must be willing to run a minimum of 2 weeks at a time
- No more than 1 moving violation in the last year
- No more than 1 preventable Incident/Accident in last year

TRU Pay, short for Transparent Reliable Understandable Pay, is a pay band structure that gives drivers pay increases that are based on individual production. Drivers can earn trip pay based on a calculation of dispatched miles that ranges from $.45 to $.62 CPM depending on route and experience.
Potential Monthly Bonus* – Drive safe miles and get up to a 12 CPM monthly bonus!
*Impacts OTR, TruPay company drivers only. Trainees not eligible for bonus under a team scenario. Dispatched Loaded Miles represent Knight’s most current version of the Rand McNally Household Goods Carriers Bureau Mileage Guide (the “Bureau Miles”) from the shipment origin point, via any intermediate points for required pickups or deliveries, to the final delivery point. Dispatched Empty Miles are the Bureau Miles for an empty trip authorized and approved by Knight. Contact Knight Driver Payroll for more info. Knight Transportation reserves the right to adjust the rules of our bonus programs as appropriate to respond to changes in business conditions.
