Knight Transportation’s Indianapolis Terminal Celebrates Two Million Milers
Knight Transportation Million Milers continue to set the standard for professionalism and safety on the road. Knight’s Indianapolis Terminal celebrated Paul Schilbe, a 2-Million-Miler, and Ryan Forbes, a 3-Million-Miler.
The special event brought together fellow Knight drivers, the entire Indy team, and Knight President Joe Vitiritto. Together, they recognized the dedication, professionalism, and hard work that helped Paul and Ryan reach these remarkable milestones.
From bonus checks and gifts to a catered lunch and plenty of appreciation, the day was all about honoring two drivers who have made a lasting impact on Knight Transportation.
A Big Day for Indy
Indy’s Terminal Manager Mason Anderson and Beth Eades, Regional VP of Pricing, shared their gratitude for drivers like Paul and Ryan, whose commitment represents the very best of Knight.
“This is a big day. Drivers like Paul and Ryan don’t come along all the time. The fact that they’ve achieved the millions of miles they have is a testament to what they do for us every day and what they’ve done for this company. We truly appreciate them,” – Mason Anderson, Indy Terminal Manager.
Mason also spoke about how honored he is to serve as both Paul & Ryan’s terminal manager and how much he enjoys supporting his drivers however he can.
Meanwhile, the celebration was especially meaningful for Ryan Forbes after spending three decades with Knight Transportation.
“This was a lot more than I expected,” Ryan shared. “Seeing the turnout as big as it was and seeing so many people I’ve known for almost the entire 30 years was special. They’re like family. I’m proud of the people I’ve worked with, what they’ve become, and what I’ve achieved under their guidance.”
What Makes Knight Transportation Million Milers Stay
For Paul Schilbe, the celebration was a reminder of the support he’s received throughout his nearly 20 years with Knight.
The success stories of Knight Transportation Million-Milers are built on more than safe driving records. They are also rooted in strong relationships, support, and a company culture that values its drivers both on and off the road.

“It feels really good to celebrate and to know that everybody appreciates what we do,” Paul said. “The company works hard to make sure we have what we need to keep moving forward.”
Paul also reflected on the support he received during one of the most difficult periods of his life. “When my wife passed away recently, they were great about it. They never pressured me to come back. They told me, ‘Whenever you’re ready.’ They helped me out if I needed it. Mason did a great job.”
Because of that support, Paul and Ryan continue to recommend Knight to other drivers.

A Career Shaped by a Great Driver
Beth Eades has worked alongside Ryan for much of his Knight career and shared how much he influenced her own professional journey.
Beth has known Ryan since June 2007. She started fresh out of college as a driver manager, and within her first few weeks, Ryan was on her board. While Beth mentioned that she helped Ryan achieve some of his mileage, she credits him with teaching her invaluable lessons about the transportation industry.
“Without good drivers, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Ryan taught me so much about the business and operations as a whole,” – Beth Eades, Regional VP of Pricing.
