Driving Associate, Amber shared how meaningful it was when she reached her million-mile mark, not just for the award but for the way the terminal came together to celebrate her. That recognition, she said, reminded her that “the hard work I’ve put in for this company isn’t going unnoticed.”

After a long-time driver passed away from cancer, the team continued to stay in touch with his family. His wife still visits the terminal to this day, proof that connections made here are lifelong.
As one team member shared, “When a driver is no longer with us, his family still feels like part of ours. It doesn’t get any better than that.”

Looking ahead, Gulfport’s goal is clear: reach 200 trucks. With freight volume rising and growing a team of dedicated drivers, that milestone is well within reach.
