Terminal Description
The Carlisle Terminal opened on July 25, 2007, situated on the historic Miracle Mile— the one-mile stretch of highway between the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Interstate 81. This area holds significance as the first level road built under the Eisenhower Interstate System.
Our terminal building has a unique history, originally serving as a gas station with a full-service garage. In some parts of the office area, you can still feel the car lifts beneath the carpet, a nod to its past.
Strategically located on the Miracle Mile, we are within six hours of seven major cities, making our terminal a crucial hub for efficient transportation and logistics.

Knight Transportation is looking for new or experienced CDL A truck drivers in Carlisle, PA and the surrounding area for a northeastern regional route out of Carlisle, PA.
- $2,000 sign-on bonus!*
- $88,400 average annual earnings for top performers
- $1,700 average weekly pay
- 12 days out, 2 days home
- Typically will run PA to NY, CT, MD, or MA
- 2,300-2,500 average weekly miles
- Up to 12 CPM in monthly production and fuel bonuses*
