Terminal Description
Knight Transportation Salt Lake City opened its doors in the fall of 1994. Since then, we’ve grown significantly, especially in the camaraderie we share with our drivers. Thanks to the efforts of our wonderful drivers and outstanding office staff, we now operate both dry and refrigerated units. Notably, we employ the longest-tenured driver in the company, who continues to drive strong.
Our goal at Knight Salt Lake is to create a terminal that everyone can call home. Drivers are known by name, not by numbers, and everyone who visits can see how well our staff works together to achieve our goals and ensure driver success. Our team brings diverse experience from various backgrounds, including former Knight drivers, logistics, safety, finance, and recruiting, all committed to enhancing the Knight experience.
We are always open for conversation and ready to assist in any way we can. Our convenient location offers easy access to shopping centers, movie theaters, and multiple restaurants, making it very accommodating for drivers whether they’re in the shop or on a reset. We take pride in our friendly culture, always greeting drivers and making them feel at home.
In January 2024, we achieved the lowest Operating Ratio (OR) in the company, a testament to our exceptional performance and dedication.

Knight Transportation is looking for experienced CDL A truck drivers to drive the I-15 corridor.
- $1,000 sign on bonus*
- Run the I-15 corridor
- Average 2,300 to 2,500 miles weekly
- 6-7 days out, 2 home (34hr reset)
- $.50 to $.63 CPM depending on route and experience

Knight Transportation is looking for experienced Class A CDL Truck Drivers to run part time. This is a slip seating position, meaning that the tractor is shared with another slip seating driver when you are on home time.
