Since opening its doors in 2008, the Knight Transportation Nashville Terminal has grown steadily, now running 73 trucks across its operations. But more than the numbers, it’s the culture that sets Nashville apart.

“We are one of the largest companies in the Western Hemisphere, but we don’t operate as a mega carrier. We operate as a hometown carrier that gets to know our driver.”
That “hometown carrier” feel runs deep, with a team that not only works well together but also spends time outside of work, attending local events like Nashville Predators games with drivers and celebrating wins together.

The Nashville terminal also represents growth and opportunity. Team members have built long-term careers here, many moving from recruiting or driving roles into leadership positions. Terminal Manager, Hailee, shared her own story:
“I was given an opportunity when I got my job here that I wouldn’t have had in most companies. I don’t have a degree, but someone took a chance on me. Without Knight, I wouldn’t live the life I get to live or be able to take care of my daughter the way I do.”

The terminal is famous for its award-winning Halloween costume contests, from Orange is the New Black to Space Jam. Drivers receive Christmas cards with the team in matching pajamas or themed outfits, reminding everyone that joy and connection matter.
