Knight Driver Appreciation Week 2025 Recap
Each September, we come together to celebrate the men and women who keep America moving, our professional drivers. Driver Appreciation 2025 was no exception, and this year’s celebration across all 29 of our terminals was bigger and better than ever. From food and giveaways to exciting contests, raffles, and special recognition, it was our way of saying: thank you for everything you do.

Driver Appreciation Week is just one week, but our gratitude extends every mile of the year. Thank you for your commitment to excellence and for representing Knight with pride on the road.

Recap of the Week’s Events
Every one of our 29 terminals hosted food, giveaways, raffles, and driver-focused activities. It was a week filled with camaraderie, recognition, and fun.
Here are just some of the highlights from our Phoenix terminal events:
- Dodgeball Tournament – The final came down to Drivers vs. Operations, with Operations taking home the win.
- Truck Trivia & RC Racing – Drivers put their knowledge and skills to the test while enjoying some competitive fun.
- 1st Annual Truck Rodeo – Sponsored by Vanguard, with $1,500 in award prizes
- 1st Place: Carlos R. (Knight Dallas)
- 2nd Place: Manny B. (Knight El Paso)
- 3rd Place: Kervin D. (Phoenix Refrigerated)
- Rookies: 1st Place – Anthony H. (Knight SoCal) and 2nd Place – Dean N. (Knight Vegas)
- Half-Court Basketball Shot Contest – Congratulations to Jesus V. from AZ Port, who drained the half-court shot and took home the $1,000 prize, sponsored by Inland Kenworth.
