Welcome to the Knight Transportation Portland Terminal, where our tight-knit team always goes the extra mile for our drivers, whether they’re based here or just passing through. Opened in March 2002, our terminal has become a true home away from home for our drivers, who often join in the office conversations and share laughs with our staff.
Our “one team, one fight” culture means that when you’re here, you’re family. We take pride in helping our driving associates succeed and are always looking for ways to support them. Our location next to the famous Columbia River and just a few miles from Vancouver, WA, offers a vibrant setting known for its diverse coffee culture and multicultural cuisine. Job Details:
This dedicated account is for team drivers who already have their Class A CDL. This account is based out of Memphis, TN with routes that run nationwide, including some loads into Canada for those who have their passport. We are hiring immediately for this full-time position.
- Team driving position
- $2,000/week average starting pay (per driver)
- $0.81 CPM
- $0.83 CPM for runs into Canada
- Passport holders preferred
- Detention and Layover Pay
- Average 5,000 miles weekly per truck
- Round Trip Drop and Hook Freight

Knight Transportation is looking for experienced CDL A truck drivers to drive the I-5 corridor – WA, OR, CA.
- $1,000 sign on bonus*
- Run the I-5 corridor
- 7-10 days out, 2 home (34hr reset)
- 2,100 average weekly miles
Background check required under 49 CFR Part 391. Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
